True story – Timaya
This
album if you ask me, dropped at the right time because this was the period when
the militants were seriously oppressing the people of Niger Delta. Timaya saw
this situation and he wasn’t too happy with it and he became a voice for the
people and he spoke for them through his music. The album was released in 2007 under
Timaya’s Dem mama Records.

Ice Prince – Ice Prince
Everybody Loves Ice Prince is Ice prince’s debut album A.K.A
(E.L.I). The album was released on the 9th of October 2011. This
album is the definition of rap. This was the album that Ice prince actually did
hard core rap. I like to think that this was so because, this was his first
album so he did more than his best to make an impression for his fans. It was
also nominated for Album of the year and it won Best rap album in 2012 at the
Headies awards. If you haven’t listened to this album, please, please and
please, you need to.

far one of the best albums ever released by a Nigerian R&B singer. The
album was released in 2009 under Mo’hits records. The album features artistes like
D’banj, Ikechukwu, Dr. sid and many more. Because of this album, Wandecoal
bagged 8 Headies Awards in one night. He is the only artist to ever do that in

love it. And wandecoal is still steady making waves even up till this moment.
