The Odd Blog decided to compile a
list of upcoming artists who are making waves in the industry. You may know some already and others you
might not know yet and that’s why TOB is here to make them known to you.
Meet the four upcoming artists for
the month.
NB: They are listed in no
particular rating order.
1. SB (Real name,
AkinyosoyeMayowa Raphael)
He started music at the age of
seven after he joined the church choir where he played the drums.
He said he
used to sneak out of school to studios so he could see for himself how songs
were produced.
His idols are King Sunny Ade, Micheal Jackson and the legendary
Orlando Owoh. The talented SB has recorded a lot of songs, one of which is
“LokeLoke” where he fuses Yoruba and English lyrics and brings out the African
sound.
He is currently working on a single called “IyaKan”. TOB will alert you

2. P’Harmony (Real name, David Enyedok)
He is a final year mass
communication student in Babcock University and also the University’s
association president. He is an A list Gospel artist and rapper. He is making
major waves in the gospel music industry and has stayed consistent since day
one.
Apart from his musical talents he is, also said to have great leadership

3. ACash (Real name, Augustine
Aduragbemi)
He is also a Babcock University
student, studying Public Administration. He started music when he was in
secondary school and recorded his first song in 2013. He didn’t kick off
officially till 2014. ACash Released his very first single on the 20th of
April, 2017.
Although he is unsigned, he is currently working on two songs and
has more coming this year.

4. Cidane (Real name, Nwannunu
Chidera promise)
He is a graduate of Business
Management from Covenant University. He started writing music in 2009 and
released his first track “Farabale featuring DjTiz” in 2012. He got positive
feedbacks from fans and decided to take his music to next level.
He has since
then developed the passion for music and also dropped a single with Famous
Bobson “You Know”. He won Covenant University College Ball Award Artist of the
year for 2017. He is working on a song “Tender featuring Profound” and it will
be released soon.
